The competition has come to a close for the ISU World Championships and on Saturday night, NBC will broadcast highlights from the four-day event. The competition kicked off Tuesday with the pairs short program before moving on to Friday's events. Women's short program and pairs free skate took to the ice as the women looked to take a lead early and pairs finished up. Thursday's competition saw the men take to the ice for the first time with their short program followed by rhythm dance. The women returned to the ice on Friday to finish up with their free skate while free dance capped day three. men's free finished out the competition on Saturday morning.

Both the men's and women's 2022 defending champions, both from the host country of Japan, repeated in 2023 with Sakamoto Kaori winning on the women's side with a final score of 224.61 and Uno Shoma winning on the men's side with a 301.14.
Taking the silver for the women was Lee Hae-in from Korea with a 220.94 while the bronze went to Loena Hendrickx of Belgium with a 210.42. On the men's side, silver went to Cha Jun-hwan of Korea with a 296.03 while Ilia Malinin of the United States took home bronze with a 288.44.
